Follow these steps to create your Creamy Bacon Carbonara Pasta perfectly:

1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti or fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta.

2. Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the diced bacon or pancetta. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. If using, add minced garlic in the last minute of cooking and sauté until fragrant.

3. Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined. Season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.

4. Combine Ingredients: Add the drained pasta into the skillet with the cooked bacon.
